Hey, look who's back on champions league spot!!

The fate in this year UEFA champions league has been thumbed last Friday with Villareal and Manchu United /Porto FC are on our way for the final in Rome. It won't be an easy draw as people would think off. Villareal was a losing semi-finalist to us, during our road to final in 2005/06 Finals only losing with 1-0 aggregate. This year, Villareal looks more outstanding and stronger and managed to get through the group stages as a runners up to Manchu Utd before defeating Panathinaikos in the first knockout stage. That's really a testimony to this spaniard team better known as 'The Yellow Submarine'

Even if we pass thru  El Submarino Amarillo, we will indeed have to face either Manchu Utd or Porto  FC in the semis. The favourite would be the 2008 Europe Champions themselves, the red devils but we hope Porto FC at least can give Man Utd a good run of their money like what Porto did with another spanish team, Atletico Madrid earlier. Fingers crossed! It will be a dream come true to meet Porto FC who actually from our group stage round and obviously we have a better head to head meeting but Man Utd still have an upper hand only lately showing some meltdown (losing back to back to Liverpool 1-4 last week and Fulham 0-2 earlier yesterday).  Whatever it is, we have to focus on ourselves and pickup pieces as we are still running in at least 3 competitions (the FA Cup, UCL and last not least the 'fading chance' in EPL championship).

Nevertheless, I wont be whining about ourselves and the chances had people realise that we are unbeaten in 16 premier league games. That's hell of a record in order to catch up with another 'big 3'. The focus and the team's determination to be back in big four can be reflected on the pitch and we are improving strength to strength to capitalise our great run for that title challenge. Yesterday's game in St James park stamped our position back in the big four as we beaten Newcastle 3 to 1 and we are now 3 points ahead Aston Villa who will be visiting Anfield tonite. I am sure Liverpool is eyeing a good result to position themselves 1 point behind league leader Manchu Utd who lost to Fulham yesterday and The Reds hopefully would do a good favour for us as well by beating Martin O' neill  Villans team. Go Reds!!!. :)

Now, to add another salt to this fourth position in the EPL league challenge which quarantee a qualification for UEFA champions' league next year, Aston Villa will see Manchu Utd next at Old Trafford after the international week. And a wounded lion like Man Utd definitely will roar and release all their cylinders to win the fixture as these last few games of the season is vital and important to keep themselves the chance for a third in a row championship medal. Again, we love u Sir Alex to complete the job for us and definitely you'll be well acknowledged in our 'Rival Manager End Season Assist Hall of Fame.' You'll be the man arsenal most remembered, Sir Alex ;)

This is our latest position after last night game!
